I think in that case you can manually lock the car - using the toggle near the inside handle to open the door. don't use the push button to lock all the doors, that won't work either. Manually flip the toggle on the driver's door, and close the door (the car doesn't know the state of the manual toggle.Not sure if there is a thread regarding this but does the X3 have an option to do walk away auto lock? The only customization settings (MY 2013-2014) are in the attached tables. You need the proprietary Subaru select monitor tool to change the settings. I don't see auto lock in drive as an option.You can set it in your little screen (4 inch) in between the gauges. You can set it to automatically lock and unlock based on speed and which gear the transmission is in.
