So that being said.. what's the point of the Shrines once you hit the 55 cap?In GD and AoM only there are more shrines in Normal than in Elite/Ultimate. But FG reversed that since the new merit tokens allow people to skip up to Ultimate. So extra shrines where added so people could play Ultimate and get all 55 devotion points in the one playthrough. Not that many seem to do that though, most still drop down to Elite ...Just down river from the bridge is a sewer outlet that leads into the underbelly of Malmouth. Getting a decent amount of them of course makes your character stronger but you're not really missing out if you don't get them all. Usually you'll have your devotion points capped sometime in Elite even if you race through the content and just grab the shrines that are easily accessible.Considering Grim Dawn is built on PathEngine and heavily "inspired" by Titan Quest, this just feels right. 12. ...
