If engine will not start, check spark and compression. If engine has spark and compression, pour a small amount up to 1/2 ounce into the carburetor throat. Sea Foam will act as starting fulid and will start the engine unless there is a mechanical or electrical problem.I see way more touring Harleys on the road than any other bike. BMWs also typically pile on miles quickly. To quiet down the final drive I changed to synthetic gear oil (Valvoline 75-115), it makes one big difference. Peer down to the bottom and you will see two small holes. Run a fine piece of copper wire through them to make sure they are clear.
