Jul 19, 2013 · My brother's LT-4WD has low compression and when it is cold we can get it started by pulling the rope. It will not start with electric start until it has been warmed up. (ps. cold = room temp). note that the pull start turns the motor on average about 350 RPM. Starter motor turns it over at about 200 RPM. Alot of people have a hard time starting and running the Chinese atv's when new and also when cold. Most of these come with a gelpac in the carb floatbowl for shipping so it does not ruin the float.
