Seems to me that the tension pin that sigs have inside their lowers that pushes on the rear takedown pin to keep the fit tight, is pushing up too hard and causing this gap.

The bolt for the Spear in 7.62x39 is completely different. I suspect that the Virtus bolt and the Spear 5.56 bolt are the same, but I don't know for certain.
