Solfest is a music and arts festival on the Solway Coast in the North West of England. It is held annually at North Lakes Country Park on the August Bank Holiday weekend. It has grown from a 1,800 capacity event in 2004 to a 10,000 capacity festival. What time does the festival start? For those of you with a Thursday Camping Ticket, the Campsites and Car Parks will open at 10am and close at 8pm. The campsites and car parks will reopen on Friday at 9am. For Thursday Bolt-On ticket holders the Main Arena opens at 6pm, for the rest the main festival arena opens at 1pm on Friday.
